Our department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is organizing at the premises of our college (Hall B) a very interesting seminar on Saturday the 7st of December 2019 (from 10:00-13:30) which is entitled “How to secure a good job once you graduate from Larnaca College”.
A very prominent guest lecturer, Dr. Aris Moussoulides, Head of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management will honor us with his presence and guest lecture.
The event will be open to the public and it would be our pleasure to welcome you at Larnaca College.

Larnaca College is participating in the 3rd Education Exhibition, organized by the Parents’ Association of Famagusta High and Technical Schools, on Saturday 12th of January 2019. The exhibition takes place in Ayia Napa, with the presence of numerous Universities and Colleges from Cyprus and abroad. Larnaca College participates with a stand equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment.

Professor Aris Moussoulides, Head of the Hospitality & Tourism Department of Larnaca College, will be a Programme Chair at the 26th Annual eTourism Conference “ENTER 2019” in Nicosia. The event will be held in Hilton Cyprus 5* hotel, 30 January – 1 February 2019. “ENTER 2019” is a “one of a kind conference”. -Professor McCabe from the University of Nottingham Praises the Research of Larnaca College Faculty
In an interview on Dutch TV, Professor Scott McCabe (The University of Nottingham) praises the research of our Faculty member, Dr. Kostas Kakoudakis, on the long-term effects of social tourism for disadvantaged populations (e.g. unemployed individuals).
-Inter-Institutional Agreement Between Larnaca College and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology, Greece
Larnaca College signed an inter-institutional agreement, within the context of Erasmus+ Programme (2017-2020), with the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology, Greece (http://www.teikav.edu.gr/). Through this initiative, the two institutions agreed to cooperate for the exchange of students and/or staff in the context of Erasmus+.
The cooperation began with the visit of Professor Vasilios Tsiantos from the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology in the premises of Larnaca College on Tuesday, 19th June, 2018. Professor Tsiantos and the Dean of Larnaca College, Mr Neophytou, agreed to commit themselves to respecting the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects of the organization and management of mobility.
-Research & Training Partnership With The International Social Tourism Organisation
The Academic Director of Larnaca College, Dr Kostas Kakoudakis became a Member of the ISTO Alliance on Training and Research in Social and Fair Tourism, an initiative of the International Social Tourism Organisation (http://www.oits-isto.org/oits/public/index.jsf).
The International Bureau of Social Tourism (BITS) was created in 1963. In 2010, the name of the BITS was changed into the International Social Tourism Organisation ISTO. ISTO raises public and social stakeholders awareness of the importance of tourism and the right to go on holidays. It should also be at the forefront of advocating ethics in tourism, through the promotion of values.

We are pleased to inform you about the recent publication of the article “Social tourism as a modest, yet sustainable, development strategy: policy recommendations for Greece”, by Konstantinos I. Kakoudakis (Larnaca College), and Scott McCabe (The University of Nottingham, UK). Konstantinos I. Kakoudakis is the Academic Director of Larnaca College; Scott McCabe is Professor of Marketing and Tourism at Nottingham University Business School, UK. He is a world expert in social tourism, as well as the new Editor-in-Chief of the 4* Academic Journal, Annals of Tourism Research.
