Larnaca City represents a lively, expanding metropolis with a plethora of exciting new social hotspots. From excellent shopping venues to boutique bars and pubs, Larnaca City accommodates everybody’s tastes with novel places to go and exciting things to do.
If it’s food your looking for, then Larnaca City offers a variety of trendy restaurants as well as the usual big-brand favorites. If you need entertainment, there’s K-Cineplex movie theater, festival venues, and exhibitions throughout the year.
As a Larnaca College student, we are committed to providing you with information, guidance, and support for all aspects of your academic study as well as your student life. We seek to offer both personal and practical solutions to help you by creating an active and supportive climate to meet a wide range of interests and talents.
We believe that student life at Larnaca College should include opportunities for intellectual, social, and occupational growth. We systematically seek to enhance and enrich not only our academic programs but also opportunities for social interaction in order to promote a sense of belonging, the creation of new friendships, and, of course, the creation of memories. In order to achieve this, we
1. promote a variety of clubs/societies to encourage student participation to socialize and develop communication skills such as
- Chess Club
- Leisure Club
- Dance Club
- Computer Club
- Cooking Club
2. organize field trips to interesting places to discover Cyprus and explore its history so that students understand the culture and traditions of Cyprus. For example, in December of 2016, we traveled to the village of Chirokitia-Lefkara to learn about the ancient culture of handmade lace (Lefkaritika). Another excursion involved travel to Agros for a tour of the Rose Factory, a walking tour of the village and lunch at a traditional tavern, Chrysanthis in Kakopetria.
3. deliver Orientation Seminars to ensure that students understand the commitment to learning and the expectations of students in Cyprus.
4. Eid Mubarak Day
