What are the admission Requirements?

Answer:

Admission criterion for entry of undergraduate students at Larnaca College of Cyprus is the successful completion of the High School level of education (12 years of secondary education or its equivalent). Larnaca College accepts the application for students seeking admission for the Fall semester the Spring semester and Summer semester. (Cypriot and EU students only).

Are Larnaca College programs of study accredited?

Answer:

Larnaca college is officially registered with the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, offering fully-accredited programs of study at the undergraduate (Bachelor’s)  and MBA postgraduate level. All programs of study are internationally recognized.

What standard of English is required?

Answer:
Students whose native language is English, or who have graduated from a non English high school but their English language mark is to 50% or above exempted from any English language placement test.  However, the college welcomes students with:

GCE “O” Level” – English Language examinations Minimum Grade C

What is the duration of studies at Larnaca college

Answer:

Larnaca College offers two-year Diplomas, four years of Bachelors, (undergraduate studies) as well as one year MBA (postgraduate studies). Additionally, it offers Professional Studies. The academic year is split into three semesters. Fall Semester commences in October and ends in January. Spring Semester commences in February and ends in May.  In addition, Summer intensive courses commence in July and end in September.

Larnaca College units of study are based on credit hours and the European Credit Transfer (ECTS). A Diploma or an undergraduate Degree is awarded after the successful completion of the curriculum as is determined by each program of studies.

What options are available when I complete my course?

Answer:

When you complete your program of studies, you can continue for further studies at Larnaca College or any other institutions in Cyprus or abroad.  Additionally, you can start your career either in Cyprus or abroad.

What is the daily schedule?

Answer:

Each period lasts 50 minutes, except the Summer Intensive English Language Course and the Foundation Programme which last 55 minutes. Classes take place from Monday to Friday. The weekly work load 15 periods per week.
