The College stands in its own new building, situated in the center of Larnaca amongst all the cities facilities. The ground floor consists of the main entrance and houses all the students’ personal lockers. The first floor offers covered, ample parking for staff and students. The second floor consists of the reception area, administrative offices, faculty offices, PC-lab, cafeteria, Library and the Directors office. All Lecture rooms and auditoriums are on the third floor. Each year, a number of scholarships are awarded on the basis of eligible students’ performance by LARNACA COLLEGE.
Three full scholarships are awarded to high school graduates-applicants based on their academic performance. The candidates should have a minimum average grade 18 (90%) on their high school leaving certificate. The scholarships will be awarded to the three students with the highest performance. The duration of the scholarships ends upon completion of the course. Students in order to maintain their scholarship should have an average grade higher than 18 or 90%.
Students who are the children of Cypriot refugees, enclaves and missing persons are offered one full and two half scholarships on tuition fees. The full scholarship will be awarded to the student who has on his/her high school leaving certificate the highest average grade above the minimum requirement, 18 (90%). The other two half scholarships will be awarded to the students who have the highest average grade on their high school leaving certificate. The duration of the scholarships ends upon completion of the course. The student in order to maintain his full scholarship should have an average grade higher than 90%. As for half scholarships, students should have an average grade higher than 85%.
Every year three partial scholarships, 30% on course tuition fees, are awarded to students with athletic, artistic or scientific achievements. The scholarships will be awarded to the three students with the highest performance. The duration of the scholarships ends upon completion of the course. Students in order to maintain their scholarship should have an average grade higher than 85%.
In case that two or more students have the same academic performance and meet the main criteria for the scholarship award, then other criteria will be taken into consideration in order to award the scholarships. Such criteria will include the candidate’s marital status, socio-economic status and physical disabilities.
